Attracting Chinese and Indian students to UK universities

CI-CD has specialist expertise in providing induction sessions to meet the cross-cultural and study needs of all international students, those from China and India in particular. We also train tutors and staff in intercultural communication skills needed in helping students adapt to UK universities.

1. CI-CD produced a 2-hour training documentary video of case-studies of Chinese students at a major Northern University, analysing in depth their experience as students in UK

2. CI-CD created a 12 Module interactive e-learning Primer Course for 3rd year students in China who aspire to follow post-graduate courses in UK. The course constructed for distribution in China as a Joint Venture with a major media company in China, endorsed by Chinese universities and by UK universities seeking to attract the best Chinese students.

At the University of Bedfordshire, CI-CD Director John Twitchin was a founder tutor of the post-graduate MA course in Intercultural Communication (Business Studies and Linguistics Departments): this course has been followed by international students, up to 50% from China and India.
